I’m pretty sure that someday soon we’ll see a remake of ET, where the alien will be replaced by an illegal Mexican immigrant desperately trying to get home.

Of course little Donny and his ICE friends will help him flee to safety, escaping from the clutches of evil scientists and journalists.
